NELFT Havering Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking an experienced mental health Nurse / mental health Practitioner to work with Children and Adolescent. The Trust is committed to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing, believing that high quality mental health services to those living within Havering. We are a busy team working with a growing population of young people with emotional and wellbeing needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in working closely with children and families working within a large multidisciplinary integrated children’s service to meet the needs of those with complex health needs.
The post holder will be based at the Acorn Centre in Romford, and will be a member of the clinical team including psychologist, Family therapist, and Medics as well as working closely with colleagues across disciplines within the educational setting.
In this role you will provide:
Holistic assessment of children and families
Offer both group and one to one interventions
Support the wider network providing advice and guidance to other professionals.
At NELFT, we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test equivalent to NVQ Level 2. If you are shortlisted and invited for interview, you will be required to undertake the assessment.
