An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee HR Advisor role to provide support for NELFT in  Redbridge and will form part of a Human Resources team based in Redbridge.

The role is initially for a fixed term period until 31st March 2019, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent thereafter.

The post holder will work in partnership with the HR team, to ensure a comprehensive, quality and timely HR service is provided to a designated client base in relation to all aspects of Human Resources. They will provide  advice and support to managers using coaching and facilitation skills as required.

The successful candidate will be undertaking or has undertaken a CIPD qualification and have experience of working in HR giving advice to managers and staff in relation to the full range of  human resources issues.

The successful candidate will be supported on a daily basis by an experience HR Manager. If the post becomes permanent the successful candidate will be supported to become fully CIPD qualified level 7.  On reaching the full CIPD level 7 qualification, the successful candidate will be given an opportunity to slot into a band 6 role, when there is a vacancy.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. If you are shortlisted, invited for interview and successfully offered the post, you will be required to undertake an assessment for these skills during the pre-employment checks.

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £3,659 to a maximum of £4,664).
