 We are looking to recruit a Data Administrator to support the Liaison & Diversion Team within the Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate. The suitable candidate for this post need;

To have worked as a PA/ Administrator within a demanding environment, with an excellent secretarial/ administrative skills including report writing, collating & presenting data, minutes taking, and record keeping.

Ability to use IT systems and databases and be able to demonstrate an understanding of quality control processes within the area of work.

The main responsibilities of the post:

  • The post holder will be expected to support the Directorate to achieve the Trust’s vision by participating in the development and implementation of high standards of care delivery ensuring the service provided is needs led, compliant with national guidance and is viewed positively.
  • Manage the total data needs of Criminal Justice Liaison Service
  • Ensure relevant performance management information is captured, analysed and disseminated as required
  • Ensure that systems of organisation are set up, maintained and updated through knowledge and understanding of processes & procedures to ensure information is processed efficiently, readily accessible and forwarded appropriately in a timely fashion and accurately.
  • To work flexibly to provide efficient, high quality secretarial, administrative and support services to the whole team as required, and to maintain office cover.

 Probationary Period

 This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. If you are successful at interview for this post, you will be required to undertake an assessment for these skills during the pre-employment checks.

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.  The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham Essex

 This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £3,659 to a maximum of £4,664).
