Band 5 looking to progress your career? Are you a Band 6 looking for a new exciting opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist with a passion for general physical rehabilitation to work within NELFT’s London based Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS).
The IRS is a large multidisciplinary community team which offers an alternative to hospital bed-based rehabilitation, supporting patients to recover at home within their own environment. The IRS work closely with the Inpatient rehabilitation services and acute partners to enable early facilitated discharges whilst supporting patients through an intensive rehabilitation programme. As part of the Band 6 team within IRS, you will manage your own caseload of community patients as well as help support the other therapists in IRS, providing training, supervision and joint sessions.
There is an expectation to join the weekend rota.

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. If you are successful at interview for this post, you will be required to undertake an assessment for these skills during the pre-employment checks.
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham Essex.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
