The vacant post is for a CT1-3 LAS in the Havering Old Adult Mental Health Team based at The Yew tree Resource Centre, 20 Yew tree Gardens, Romford, RM7 9AA. It is a 6 month fixed term contract.
This post is based in the community and Dr Sima Shende, Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist is the clinical supervisor.
The doctor will participate in a memory assessment clinic, an older adult mental health clinic and have a caseload of functional and organic mental health patients, all under the supervision of the consultant.
There are educational and clinical supervision meetings weekly, and a weekly academic meeting.
There are also on call duties on the adult psychiatry rota.
