North East London Foundation Trust Temporary Staffing Team, provides temporary staff cover to Mental Health and Community services throughout North East London and South West Essex localities.

The Temporary Staffing Invoicing Team is based in Basildon, Essex and this post is for an Invoicing Assistant, part time 22.5 hours per week (3 full days) .

The main responsibilities of the post:
1. Responsible for checking and authorising for payment of Temporary Staffing agency invoices, using the Health Roster / BankStaff and Integra E-Series systems.
2. Assist the Payroll Lead with developing a self-bill payment process with external agencies and leading on implementing the process effectively.
3. Devise and produce weekly reports and financial statements for external agencies using Microsoft Excel software and Citrix finance system.
4. To establish and maintain databases and spread sheets to ensure that targets can be monitored against plans and information on progress can be shared.
5. Assist the Temporary Staffing Payroll Lead on the maintenance of the Health Roster / BankStaff reporting functions and updating and developing the systems where necessary.

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.  As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £961 to a maximum of £1,665).
