An opportunity has arisen within Community Health and Social Care Service within Barking and Dagenham to work as a job share in the post of Operational Lead.

This role will job share in providing operational management within an integrated team comprising of a District Nursing team, Community Matron and a therapy team.

The post holder will be a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional responsible for the professional and clinical leadership, line management and development of the Community Locality Team (multidisciplinary) ensuring delivery of a safe, effective and efficient service within an agreed locality.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to ensure that the named professional (nurse or therapist) develops close working relationships with their named practices and have the ability to implement service strategies, including workforce strategies to manage the increasing demand for community services

The post holder will have  an understanding of the population profile for the locality and the services within it.

The post holder will have experience in managing teams and also have the ability to manage budgets.

The post holder will maintain clinical  input - 80% (management), 20% (clinical)
